How to install IMCapture for FaceTime?

1.Download IMCapture for FaceTime: www.imcapture.com

2.Run the IMCapture for FaceTime.dmg file from the desktop, or download location.

3.In the IMCapture for FaceTime window, click and drag the IMCapture for FaceTime.app icon into the Applications folder icon.

That’s it. IMCapture for FaceTime is installed. You may delete the IMCapture for FaceTime.dmg file from your desktop or download location.

Yes, open IMCapture and select Preferences from the IMCapture for FaceTime menubar above. After that put a tick near Enable Autorecord.

What should I do with the file to convert it?

Launch IMCapture for FaceTime and then open the folder with the saved recorded files. Here you can choose the file with double-click and it will be opened with the converter. In the converter you can change the resolution, choose what you want to convert (only audio, input video, output video, frame in frame video with output video main or input video main). If you choose frame in frame video you can change the secondary video size as you need. After that choose codecs, choose what audio you want to use (output or input or both) and press convert.

I want to convert my call but it allows me to convert only 4 minutes of it. Why?

You have got a trial version which allows to convert only 4 minutes of recording.

How can I improve the quality of the video?

The only way to improve the quality of the video using IMCapture is to change the resolution. However, you should know that IMCapture for FaceTime captures the streaming video and the quality does not depend on IMCapture, it depends on FaceTime and camera.
